    No oil, lotion or cream is used on the skin. However we do burn aromatherapy oils and play relaxation music to add to the experience.

    A typical corporate massage routine focuses on the neck and shoulders, as well as the upper, mid and lower back. Longer sessions also spend more time on the scapula and rhomboids, trapezius, and work on the shoulders, arms and hands too.

    Make yourself comfortable. Many clients close their eyes and make full use of their ‘time out’. Others like to talk during their sessions. Feel free to ask the therapist questions about the massage or other health related issues.

  • How Will I Feel After The Massage?

    Most people feel relaxed and rejuvenated after a session. However others can responds differently to massage. When Qi energy is stimulated, dormant toxins flow back into circulation to be eliminated. The  organs of elimination include the liver, lungs, kidneys, lymphatic system and skin. If the bodies’ eliminatory and healing mechanisms are a little sluggish, or the recipient is particularly sensitive, symptoms including light-headedness, headaches and lethargy can temporarily linger. It seems that those who lead a healthier, cleaner lifestyle have less reaction and those that tend to eat poorly, do little physical activity and lead a sedentary lifestyle will be more sensitive to this shift. It is important to remember that these physical and emotional reactions are temporary and that the body will balance itself soon after.
